Absolute Scriabin. Scriabin and Strauss

Description

Sometimes, in discussions about Alexander Scriabin, the word "absolute" comes up in a figurative sense. The composer was deeply interested in mysticism and theosophy. He saw art (and music in particular) as a powerful tool for the spiritual transformation of humanity. In this context, the "absolute" is the very idea of searching for the highest, universal truth through creativity.

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fabio Luisi, presents the concert program "Absolute Scriabin", which features works by Richard Strauss, Alexander Scriabin and Richard Wagner.
